If you have tried to source palmitoylethanolamide, you already know the pattern. A specification sheet with a CAS number and an assay figure. The word “micronized” with no particle-size data attached. A certificate of analysis that arrives three emails later, if it arrives at all. Regulatory questions answered with a shrug.

That gap is the reason PEAOID exists. Not because the world needs another PEA supplier, but because it needs one that behaves like a pharmaceutical raw-material supplier rather than a commodity trader.

What we actually do differently

We specify particle size, and we measure it

“Micronized” is not a specification. Every lot is milled to a defined particle-size range and the measured result is reported on its certificate of analysis. If you are paying for micronized material, you should be able to see a number rather than an adjective.

We issue documentation as a set, before you ask

The qualification pack goes out complete — specification, batch certificate of analysis, safety data sheet, the standard declarations your QA team will ask for, and our regulatory position for your market. One request, one pack, rather than four weeks of email.

We publish the counter-evidence

There is a negative spinal-cord-injury trial. There is a largely negative carpal tunnel trial. There is a systematic review in which the randomized subset lost significance. Heterogeneity across the pain literature is very high. All of it is on this website, in the evidence library, alongside the positive data. Your regulatory and medical-affairs teams will find it anyway; a supplier who has already flagged it is worth more than one who has not.

We do not sell you a grade you do not need

Much of this category is sold on the idea that finer is always better. The comparative pharmacokinetic data does not support that beyond micronized — which is why micronized is our finest grade, and why we will steer you to normal grade when your dosage form does not need milling at all.

We show what we hold, and nothing else

You will not find a wall of certification logos on this site. We display only what is actually in place: our own FSSAI approval for palmitoylethanolamide, a documented quality system, and a full release panel on every lot. Where a scheme certification is not yet in place, we say so. Ask us anything about our status and you will get it in writing, including where the answer is “not yet”.

Who is behind PEAOID

PEAOID is a brand of Aurora Farmabio Pvt Ltd, a Vadodara-based pharmaceutical and nutraceutical ingredient company incorporated in 2021. Aurora develops and manufactures branded ingredients, natural ingredients and active pharmaceutical ingredients, and runs contract manufacturing, finished formulations and analytical R&D for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, probiotic and institutional-supply sectors.

That matters for a raw-material buyer in a specific way: PEAOID is not a trading operation reselling somebody else’s drums. The molecule is made and released inside our own quality system, by a company whose other customers are pharmaceutical formulators, and whose FSSAI approval for palmitoylethanolamide is held in its own name.

Where our effort goes

Aurora is an ingredient developer. The investment goes into process and product development rather than into collecting scheme badges — controlling the milling step, characterizing the material properly, building and validating the analytical methods, and developing formats such as the cold water dispersible grade that solve problems a certificate cannot.

That is the intellectual property a formulator is actually buying when they buy an ingredient brand. The specification on this site is the evidence of it.

Where we are

PEAOID is manufactured in India, under FSSAI approval and good manufacturing practice, and shipped worldwide. India is a rational place to make this molecule: deep synthetic-organic and fine-chemical capability, an established nutraceutical export industry, and a domestic regulator that has examined palmitoylethanolamide repeatedly and cleared it repeatedly since 2018.
